End of cleaning operations at Ferber, the wastewater treatment plant takes full possession of its stormwater basins.
15 April 2024
In a previous news article, we mentioned that the Ferber stormwater basins had been cleaned out since 15 January. Now complete, the basins are once again operational to receive and store the rainwater-laden effluent brought back by the collectors during waves of bad weather.
This marks the end of preparatory work on these buildings, which are essential to the smooth operation of the Nice Haliotis wastewater treatment plant. It also marks the end of the odour nuisance around the plant that may have arisen during this operation initiated at the start of the year, and will ensure that the plant is operating normally in anticipation of the summer season, which is about to begin.
