Roadworks around Haliotis to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
29 April 2024As you may have noticed, work has been underway on the Promenade des Anglais just beyond the airport since 13 February. To be precise, the work is being carried out just in front of the Nice Haliotis wastewater treatment plant, in anticipation of the renovation and modernisation work due to start in July.
To mark the occasion, the roadway is being upgraded, in particular to allow the cycle path to run alongside the traffic lanes where it used to run alongside the station. A left turn onto Avenue du Docteur Emile Roux is also under way, as part of the modifications required by the works, which are due to be completed in June.
