Haliotis2 – a major project of interest beyond national borders!

On Friday October 4, a delegation from the Syndicat Intercommunal SIACH (SIACH Intercommunal Syndicate) made up of political leaders and syndicate staff from Luxembourg came to find out more about the Haliotis2 project to renovate and modernize the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolitan area’s wastewater treatment plant. This moment of exchange and sharing began with a presentation of the project at the Maison de l’Eau, enriched by exchanges around the model of the project before going on to discover the site and equipment of the current Station. This visit, like many others that have already taken place, reinforces the aura of this large-scale project on a European scale, while inspiring and serving as a model for other European colleagues on what can be done to valorize all the resources potentially resulting from the activity of a modern wastewater treatment plant.
