Demolition work: Haliotis is making way for Haliotis 2.

This is an important step in the project, which will begin very soon. A cleaning and draining operation of the South clarifiers of the Wastewater Treatment Plant is currently underway and will be completed by June 20th. This operation may cause some odor nuisance, which our teams are working to minimize. A major step will follow, with the demolition of the building that previously housed the six South clarifiers. As a reminder, Haliotis had two water treatment lines. To free up space and build the new equipment, it was necessary to shut down one of the two lines. To ensure continuity of service and identical wastewater treatment quality with only half of the equipment operational, preparatory work with the installation of additional equipment to boost water treatment was previously carried out.
